Kevin - have you ever come across a situation where a website SERPS position has drastically improved for many keywords (top 10/20 from below top 50) yet their analytics suggests its actually getting less traffic (uniques)?

this could depend on many factors is the keyphrase you are reffering to increased traffic or is it less ?

Just picked up this thread.

Thanks for the step by step link.

I started using Google analytics and once I get used to it I think it will make more sense.

Some of the data is eye opening for a 'newbie' ..... like time visitors are on pages etc.
