Getting pictures from my Motorola Razr phone to my PC

Hi folks,

I have a Motorola Razr mobile which has some photographs on it which I would l like to download them onto my PC.

I have a USB cable, but I assume that I am missing some software. Any ideas folks.

Unfortunately unless you can find the CD that came with the phone (or get it back off whoever you lent it to if you get me) you will need to buy a new copy of the Motorola Phone Tools.

Are the photo's stored on the internal memory or does it accept a memory card of some sort?

Have you tried connecting the phone to the USB port and then connecting that to the computer? I have seen many phones that will allow you to pull the photos direct from the file structure. It will all depend i guess on what format the file is being saved in and if it's some sort of razr only format then Gordon's suggestion may be the only route.

Are you able to send MMS or email from your phone? You could also use that fucntionality.

Bring up your first image

Take out your new top quality digital camera

Zoom in

I have the same problem with my Motorola believe it or not. I have photos of my granddaughter and cannot get them off. Have tried downloading the software and that didnt work and tried using the bluetooth to send the photos to the printer. Any suggestions would be welcome.

You could transfer them to another phone ( one with all the software and USB leads) by the bluetooth feature on the Motorola.

Go into Menu, select the bluetooth symbol (looks like and car M.O.T symbol)
Select SETUP then make sure power is ON.

Go back to menu and select MEDIA CENTRE, move over to your PICTURES and select.

Scroll down to find your picture then click the - symbol at the very top of your keypad.

Scroll down and click MOVE

This will give you a list of option, click [Look for devices] (make sure your other phone is on and Bluetooth is active.

It will search for devices, select this device and then your picture will transfer over to the other phone.
