Hi Guys
I'm helping out a local church and want to help them get the best out of their multimedia projects.
OK current scenario:
.mov presentations / videos created on 2 Macbooks
Once created, the finished files are sent to an external HDD
Which is then disconnected from the Mac and reconnected to a Windows laptop / projector and played on screen.
Now this system, although slightly cumbersome with the constant moving around of the external HDD, it works!
Now my proposed scenario:
All Macs / Windows machines are on the same network (both wired and wireless).
Now I was thinking of attaching a NAS box to the network.
Then Mac users can "send" their completed .mov projects to it.
Windows laptop user then pulls the files from the NAS box and plays them on screen.
Any advances on this?
Info greatly appreciated
