Here's a new way to advertise! Dirty Street?

Wow I actually think this is kind of cool! And now that you mention it, I've definitely seen it here, perhaps not on pavements but definitely on walls - for Coca Cola, and such like.

Looks pretty cool, and interesting that they've turned it into a business. I've done similar things in as much as while cleaning the path at home with a pressure washer I've crudely written or drawn clean shapes in whatever it is that makes paths dirty (that's crudely resolution wise not content wise! ) but the idea of whacking a stencil down before doing it makes it actually legible and pretty cool.

Ha good question! well ultimately its a case of do the job and apologise later!
Again because its legal, at this point there is nothing the council can do aside from grumble a bit. It is one of our aims to actually get the more friendly councils involved a bit as it has great potential for them.

I could see it being a helluva thing to make stick but you could argue criminal damage... A pressure washer slightly erodes the surface it cleans...

It's going to cost some council a **king bomb to establish precedent though! :lol::lol:

Still... If you had a building that NEEDED cleaning... AND you agreed to say a year's 'posterisation' in exchange for the whole lot getting cleaned off for nowt...

Pity the outside walls of my flat are only generally visible to four Highland Coos and a flock of sheep! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Without a doubt the councils would absolutely detest it. But then again, could be useful for getting their bottoms in gear to clean the streets a bit more often!

I saw this done on an early morning impromptu basis by two women in London about ten years ago. Neat idea.

Heres a heads up on the Guinness advert posted above - that was created on a computer and Guinness have never actually done this type of advertising!!

The company who were advertising this made up a few mock examples on the computer and pretended that it was their work. If you see reverse graffiti images for Starbucks, Fox and Vans these are also graphics from a computer!

Interesting business practices!
