Hi everyone,
I’m interested in how UK small businesses manage apprenticeship and entry-level job applications.
Many larger employers use applicant tracking systems to review CVs before a recruiter sees them, but I’m not sure how common this is among smaller businesses. This can be difficult for applicants because a suitable candidate may be overlooked when their CV has an unusual layout or does not clearly match the job description.
I’m currently working on a resume review tool called ATS Checker, so I’m particularly interested in hearing from business owners and applicants.
Do small businesses here use ATS software when recruiting apprentices or junior employees, or do you normally review every application manually?
I’d appreciate hearing about your experience.
