Hi
Just received this from [email protected] and thought it may be useful information for forum members.
From 1st October 2009, the law has changed allowing company directors to use a service address for the handling of documents for the public record, while keeping their residential address private.
This will protect those working in a high profile or security-sensitive industry who need to protect their family from potential threats, however it will also benefit those who want to keep their business and home life separate.
Because the service address has to be a proper street address, somewhere that can receive and sign for mail when necessary, a PO Box cannot be used for this purpose however a Mail Boxes Etc. mailbox qualifies and can be used for around £1 a day. Our addresses can also be used as registered offices for an additional fee.
For more details on the new legislation and how a mailing address from Mail Boxes Etc.
