Snapper, most of the high street banks have free CD Roms with templates and business planners on them. Just go in and ask. I used Barclays' CD, even though I didn't end up going with them for my banking, as it was an excellent little tool that was a great help.

SIE have a great section on business plans, less of a template with boxes and more of a "this is the information you need to consider and include" advice type thing;

Thanks all. I managed to get some good information from the links above and I'm now wading my way through each section. This may sound stupid but, it's actually quite enjoyable.

Templates are a good starting point but I having provided them historically, and seen the end results, I would recommend that you have your plan independently reviewed prior to submission to any lending body.

I will happily do this FOC.
