Sage but only as that is the software that my Alice our in house book keeper is used to using.

It is on my list to do this year to get all accounts online and hooked up with our booking and reservation systems

Abacus, stone tablet and chisel it seems.

 OMG! Sage, Kashflow, quickbooks???

I really do have to get my accounts in order, don't I? When I first started self employment in 1996 (first time around) I did all the bookkeeping for my first year on spreadsheets. My accountant told me not to bother and just give him all my receipts and bank statements and he would do the rest. My accountancy fees were exactly the same in my second year of trading after giving him a large box of crumpled paper..... Obviously he knew my limitations, well before I did. :w00t:

Amestaper,

I'm new to the Scottish Business Forums site & thought i'd introduce myself. I'm a freelance bookkeeper & may be able to assist you with your large box of crumpled paper................. May be able to reduce your accountancy fee's.

Currently based in East Lothian, PM me if you would like to discuss further, no obligation.;)
