Hello everyone — we’re Credo Websites. We design, write and look after websites for independent UK businesses, including plumbers and garages.

We offer a free homepage preview so you can see how your business could look online. No card and no obligation to buy. Previews normally follow within two working days of receiving the details we need.

Our standard Website plan is £79/month plus £99 setup, with a 12-month minimum. Domain registration is extra, typically £10–£15/year. No VAT to add. Hosting and ongoing website care are included.

We work online with businesses nationwide, including London, Bristol, Oxford, Birmingham, Manchester, Bath and Leeds.

Happy to answer questions here about the service, what’s included or moving an existing website. What would you like your website to do better?

Worth the tradespeople reading this doing a quick sum before signing: £79 x 12 plus the £99 setup is just over £1,000 in year one, and the 12-month minimum means walking away early isn't an option. That's not unreasonable for a managed site, but it only stacks up if the site actually brings in jobs.

A few questions it would help Credo to answer here, because they're the ones that catch people out later:

  • Who owns the domain? It should be registered in the business owner's name, not the agency's.
  • What happens at month 13? Can the site, content and photos be exported and moved elsewhere, or does it vanish when payments stop?
  • Is Google Business Profile setup and basic local search work included, or is that extra? For a plumber in Leeds or a garage in Bath, that's where most enquiries come from.
  • Which company is it, and is it registered at Companies House? Anyone can check that for free.

Credo, clearing those up would do more for trust than the city list.
