I agree with the balance point. The best automation for small businesses is usually the boring stuff that protects revenue without making the business feel faceless.

Customer calls are a good example. If a sole trader or small team is on a job, they cannot always answer, but the caller still expects a response. An AI receptionist can be useful there if it sounds natural, answers quickly, captures the job details, and passes a clean summary back to the owner.
