Normally if I needed a new charger I would just order up a new one on eBay. I think the story below on the BBC would make me think twice

Ive bought a few cheap chargers and to be honest they have been rubbish. One was fron the apple certified shop in Edinburgh and it burnt out after a few months so I bit the bullet and payed
