Hello, this time tomorrow, we in the UK will be listening intently to the news coming from accross the pond with regards to the presidential elections. No doubt being bombarded with analysis and sound bites from all over the US.

By the next morning we could be seeing the end of GWB...:thumbdown:....HOORAY!!:thumbup1:...and the beginining of a new political era, which could finally bring us back from the edge of world war 3 at last.

Who do you think will win?

Barack Obama or John McCain.

Obama, I think the political landmark that would be made by him taking office is enough to drive all but the deep south to vote him in!

bookies have predicted 90% win by obama - apparently they have been right the last two elections including voting in key states - they have nothing to lose i suppose

I dont think there's a poll in the US that puts McCain in front and there appears to be a general consensus that Obama will take this. Obama seems to be promising an awful lot and will have a lot to deliver if he's elected. Given the current economic issues this could be the best time to become president or the worst.
