Which Social Media are you using, and according to you, which is good for Marketing?

I focus on where my audience hangs out. For marketing, pick the one where your customers already scroll and engage naturally.

I focus on Instagram and TikTok for marketing. To keep my brand safe, I use face2social. Upload a clear photo, and it finds your profile across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X in around 30 seconds. Great for checking if your image is used elsewhere.

I don't think there is a universally "best" platform anymore. A B2B company might get far more value from LinkedIn than TikTok, while a visual consumer brand could see the exact opposite.

I'd rather do one platform consistently and measure actual enquiries than spread the same content across five platforms just for reach.

I’d probably choose based on the customer rather than the platform.

If you’re selling B2B, I’d look seriously at LinkedIn. If the product is visual or consumer-focused, Instagram or TikTok may be a better fit. Reddit and niche forums are interesting when people are already asking questions related to what you sell.

That last one is something we’ve thought about quite a bit with LemSubs: finding the relevant discussions is useful, but the actual reply still needs to be written for the conversation rather than turned into a sales pitch.

Being genuinely active on two relevant platforms will usually teach you more than posting the same content across six.

Choosing the right social media platform really depends on the type of business and the audience you're trying to reach. There isn't one platform that works equally well for everyone.

For example, Instagram and TikTok can be useful for visual products and short-form video, LinkedIn is often better for B2B services, and Facebook can still be useful for local businesses and community-based audiences.

I'd recommend starting with one or two platforms where your target customers are already active rather than spreading yourself too thin. Track engagement, website visits, enquiries, and actual conversions to see which platform is producing meaningful results.

Consistent, useful content usually matters more than simply being present on every social media platform.
