SMS updates for when your site goes down...

Hey all,

I'm developing a really simple web-based application that lets you receive a text message if (or when) your site goes offline.

The system checks your website every 2 minutes on port 80 (this is the port that you connect to to see your site online).

If it can't connect, it does another check in 2minutes time. If, for the second time, it still can't connect, it sends you a text message to the mobile phone number of your choice with the date and time.

I'm looking for a couple of beta testers who would like to trial this service over the months of December and January.

I need some accurate feedback from you (in the form of a questionnaire) at the end of January, so please only offer if you're willing to do this (there's only about 15 questions!)

Sounds interesting - what you coding it in ?

I had intended to code it in PHP, but it turns out that's going to be too slow for such a high quality service. So, it's down and dirty with C instead
