Scotland wins major business event

Currently just departing Quebec after this years Adventure Travel World Summit and happy to report that this intensive conference of over 500 of the worlds leading Adventure Travel industry professionals will be coming to Aviemore in October 2010.:001_smile:

This is a major coup for Scotland and will enable Scottish tourism businesses to demonstrate what they can do.

Delegates will be coming to Scotland from over 50 countries around the world. These industry professionals are well travelled so it will not be easy to make a impression but we have a year of planning to ensure the event is one that they will never forget and they return to their home countries raving about Scotland.

That's excellent news for Scottish Tourism and coupled with the current and proposed development for Aviemore I'm sure the visit will present a showcase opportunity for local businesses.

October is a nice time for visiting the Highlands and the Aviemore area.
