I am just in the middle of redesigning the Moray Web Solutions website and I have decided that it's time I finally get round to dealing with PNG transparency issues in IE5.5 and IE6...

I have implemented 'Supersleight' to overcome the issue, but for some reason it is showing an image placeholder behind the images to be displayed, although the transparency is working and the images are displayed - very annoying!

I have googled this problem without much luck in finding anybody else with the same issue. Anybody here played with Supersleight (or any other PNG transparency solution),and if so can you shed some light?

It is not for background images, just for inlines.

See what I mean here. It's not a full page, just one with three images using transparency. You will need a native install of IE6 or IE5.5 to see what I mean, or BrowserShots.

Think I've cracked it now using UnitPNGfix instead of supersleight...

If you have a native install of IE6 can you check this for me and let me know if it displays properly?

Cheers!

Cheers Tom, usual story - I focus my time on the kitchen fitting and suddenly there is interest in the web design side of things!! Still work is work! :)

Now, how do I make a signature that caters for both businesses!?!?

Like taxis, you know when you don't need one every second car that passes you is a taxi.. The minute you need one, not one in sight! :cursing:
