What's your thoughts on this? Are these increases sustainable for small businesses or do you think it's puts small businesses off employing people?

I think it's good for those who are benefiting from the wage - i.e. the workers who are in jobs that will always BE minimum wage. I do think that it will be a struggle for the businesses who are only just turning over as it is though, because they will have to get the extra money from somewhere or cut staff hours. I have a feeling that it is more likely to be approached using the latter option than the former, which is a shame.
