Hi everyone, I'm the CEO of LinkDirect.

If your customers find you on Instagram, choosing a single link for your bio can be awkward. Your booking page, services, WhatsApp and latest offer often live in different places.

LinkDirect lets you bring those existing destinations together on a bio page with your photo, colours and buttons. For a personal trainer, that could mean separate buttons for one-to-one sessions, online coaching and booking a consultation. You keep your existing website and booking software.

You can also create a short customer-feedback survey and share it after a class, appointment or tour, either as a link or with a QR code.

There is a free plan with one bio page and one active survey, with LinkDirect branding. Paid plans provide more capacity and customisation.

Happy to answer questions here about whether it would fit your business.

Sounds like a sensible fit for the Instagram-first trades: PTs, mobile beauty, dog groomers, tour guides. The "one link in bio" problem is real, and most people solve it with a free overseas tool that looks a bit generic. A few things UK small business owners here will want to know before signing up, so worth answering them in the thread:

  • Data and GDPR. Survey responses can include names, emails and sometimes health details (a PT asking about injuries, say). Where is that data stored, is there a data processing agreement available, and can an account owner export or delete responses on request? Sole traders are just as caught by UK GDPR as a Ltd company, so this matters to everyone.
  • Pricing. Are the paid plans shown in GBP, and is VAT included or added on? Plenty of small operators are below the VAT threshold and can't reclaim it, so the headline figure is what they actually pay.
  • Reviews. Can a positive survey response nudge the customer towards a Google Business Profile or Trustpilot review? Internal feedback is useful, but public reviews are what bring the next booking in.
  • Ownership. If someone drops to the free plan or leaves, do they keep the survey history, and can the bio page redirect to their own domain so they aren't locked in?

One practical tip for anyone considering it: the QR code idea works well in physical settings, but keep the survey to three or four questions. Anything longer and the completion rate collapses, particularly if someone's just finished a sweaty class or a long tour. Ask one rating question, one open "what would you change" question, and whether you can quote them. That last one gives you usable testimonials for your website and socials.

The free plan with branding is a fair way to trial it. If the data handling and export answers are solid, this would be worth a go for anyone currently juggling a booking link, a WhatsApp link and a price list across three different places.
