...40% Of Wireless Home Networks Remain Unprotected.



40% of wireless PC users are leaving their Internet connections unsecured and open to hackers, a survey by IT specialists Easy PC Scotland has revealed.

A newly published survey by Edinburgh-based IT company Easy PC Scotland today reveals that 40% of PC users risk the theft of vital personal information by failing to secure their wireless internet connections.

Of the 2367 connections scanned by the home and business IT experts, 943 were found to have no protection against hackers

I really just find it disgusting that these bottom feeders if you will are invading our privacy even thru the use of the transactions we make online! It sort of makes you yearn hfor the days when you could just say that the check is in the mail and that was the only alternative that you had. Internet is great but it can also be a great way to lose everything to thieves.
