This is the risk you take with free email addresses. I wrote about this in my 'ten checks to see if your website is ready for 2010' at
Is your website ready for 2010? | Canary Dwarf, Moray's web design specialists (point 5)
You can buy domain names with any reputable registrar or we will register and manage them on your behalf (in your name of course). We charge £7.99 per year for .CO.UK and £14.99 for .COM. This includes all administration such as changes to nameservers, setting up mailboxes and forwards, and any other domain issues. (Plus VAT)
If you buy a domain name through us, we don't charge for hosting until you have a website to host. So you can run your email straight away and get your website up at a later date. As Matt says, you can have a holding page on the domain until you are ready for a website.
We also have a WordPress installation service which is £50 setup on your domain and £50 per year after that.
For your assurance, our hosting platform was measured the most reliable in the UK last June.
