Facebook as a marketing tool

Hi guys,

I still believe many people under utilise Facebook as a marketing tool. Recently, Facebook has outranked Google as a search engine tool in a number of weeks, so it's important to be using it properly.

Facebook ? An Effective Marketing Tool!

I've chosen to launch my new proofreading initiative there, and will look at other places to publicise this venture later:

Gaynor,

You wrote: Recently, Facebook has outranked Google as a search engine tool

Could you clarify that. Do you mean that people are now using Facebook rather than Google to search for websites? I'm not doubting your word. It's just that I find it hard to believe (although I admit I know absolutely nothing about Facebook).

Thanks for the clarification, Gaynor (and absolutely no need to apologise).

I'm not sure what conclusions we should draw from the fact that more people visited Facebook than Google in a certain period this month - especially as Google get a lot of revenue from people who don't actually visit their site. I'm not sure how that makes Facebook a better marketing tool, but what do I know?

Most businesses don't have the time to put into Facebook and Twitter as other types of marketing generate better results for the time given to learn and master these new service. My advice is to get a professional who understands it.
