Managing employee training, recurring assessments, and training records can be challenging when information is spread across multiple systems.

e-KHOOL is an AI-powered learning management platform that helps UK organisations organise compliance training, track learner progress, manage assessments, and monitor training completion through one centralised system.

Organisations can upload their existing policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), manuals, videos, and compliance documents to structure digital learning around their internal requirements.

Key capabilities include:

  • Training assignment and completion tracking
  • Assessment and certification management
  • Training reports and progress monitoring
  • Recurring training administration
  • Aira, the e-KHOOL AI agent, for AI-powered learning support
e-KHOOL supports organisations seeking a structured approach to employee training and compliance learning management.

Useful overview, but a few specifics would help anyone here actually weigh it up against the alternatives.

For most UK firms, compliance training lives or dies on the audit trail. If the FCA, CQC, HSE or an ICO auditor asks for proof that a named employee completed a named module on a given date, the system needs to produce that in minutes, with timestamps, scores and the exact version of the policy they were trained on. Policy versioning catches people out: a record showing someone passed the "Data Protection" module means very little if the underlying policy has been revised twice since.

Questions worth answering in this thread:

  • Where is data hosted? A UK or EU region matters for UK GDPR, and most procurement teams will want a DPA and a sub-processor list before signing.
  • Pricing model. Per-user per-month charges can sting a small Ltd company with seasonal or part-time staff. Can inactive users be archived without paying for them?
  • SCORM or xAPI support, so off-the-shelf courses (first aid, fire safety, AML) can be imported rather than rebuilt from scratch.
  • Integration with HR or payroll tools such as BrightHR, Breathe or Xero Payroll, so starters and leavers sync automatically. Manual user admin is where these platforms usually fall over.
  • What the AI agent actually does with uploaded SOPs. Generating quiz questions and answering learner queries is handy, but is customer content used to train models outside the customer's own tenant?

One caution for anyone shopping around: a slick LMS does not replace competent content. Uploading a 40-page SOP and marking it "assigned" will not satisfy a regulator if the training itself is thin. The platform is the record-keeper, not the trainer.

For smaller outfits, say under 20 staff, a shared spreadsheet and a tidy certificate folder is often adequate until recurring renewals (DBS, first aid, CSCS, food hygiene) start slipping through the cracks. That is normally the point where paying for a system starts to pay for itself.
