Digital content and high page ranked links

Hi everyone,

My background is consumer and corporate PR and before I moved up to Edinburgh from London I developed a model for digital content based on assisting SEO programmes with inbound links from high pageranked websites.

Our business would 'plug in' to existing technical SEO services provided by digital agencies and SEO companies and provide a kind of 'blue ribbon' service, delivering pagerank 5 links or higher to help with natural search listings. This is based on the principle that PR agencies have the creativity and editorial contacts to develop impactful content - and accompanying links - through careful management of relationships with content managers and online journalists.

However, as I'm new to the scene up here my first question is simple: is the digital marketing industry in Scotland the same as elsewhere? Should I be aware of any local differences?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
Billy

Hi Billy

Welcome to Scotland.

I run an SEO company in the highlands but I have clients throughout the UK. Online reputation, content distribution and link building are obviously core services that we provide to most clients and I would suggest that the answers to both questions are 'No'.

I am interested in the service that you are referring to as we are always looking for new ways to promote our clients businesses and connect with other digital marketing organisations in Scotland.

As I also have twenty years experience in the tourism & hospitality industry our client base is largely accommodation providers, restaurants and outdoor activity providers, along with community based websites - ideal business types for what you have in mind I think.

We work closely with a number of web design/developemnt agencies in Scotland, delivering SEO on a B2B basis and I am keen to explore any new avenues that would enhance the service that we already provide.

Kind Regards

Interesting business model Billy........given the significant importance of banklinks when it comes to SEO and the fact you're able to provide access to one way backlinks on high ranking websites, are you able to / planning to sell this service directly to webmasters as well as SEO companies?

Hi Gavin,

Yes I'd be delighted to discuss the idea in more detail - just looked at your website and think we could work well together. Perhaps you could email me at [email protected] when you are free?

Best,
Billy

Hi EmployEasily - sorry you didn't leave your name...

Trimedia supplies digital services direct to its clients, not just via other SEO agencies and digital marketing companies, so yes, we could work with you directly, of course. The key to the service is the quality of the content and the reliability of the relationships we have with content managers and online journalists...email me if you'd like to discuss? [email protected].

Best
Billy
