Debt Recovery in Scotland

Hi all,

wondering if someone can recommend a debt recovery expert in Scotland?

Unpaid rent on a couple of commercial properties in Glasgow.

We're finding "door step visits" are effective in getting the money (i.e. its a case of won't pay rather than can't pay) but I don't have time nor the nature to continue doing it.
Not after a nutter just need someone professional who would presistently chase by telephone a few times then pay a visit. At same time don't want a call-centre thats going to send out generated letters etc - fuel for the fire with most of the folk we deal with just now.

thanks Neil, fair point and I'll do a little intro on the intros page. I'm a sole trader and would rather not put up my full name (its a very Google friendly surname!).

I work for myself as a project management consultant but question is related to 2 investment properties - which are in my name rather than related to a Ltd company as such.

It does sound like you will need a sheriff officer to carry out something like this. How are your leases structured on these commercial properties surely there is a procedure involved in giving tenants notice etc?
