Digital Asset Security, Blockchain Intelligence & Incident Support

As digital assets become increasingly integrated into personal and institutional portfolios, effective security, monitoring, and incident response are essential.

Grayware Tech Services provides professional digital-asset security and blockchain intelligence services to individuals, businesses, and organizations seeking to protect assets, investigate suspicious activity, and respond to cryptocurrency-related incidents.

Our capabilities include:

• Digital-asset and wallet security assessments
• Blockchain transaction analysis and tracing
• Cryptocurrency incident investigation
• Suspicious wallet and address activity analysis
• Smart-contract, bridge, and exchange interaction analysis
• Blockchain evidence preservation and documentation
• Digital-asset risk assessment and security recommendations
• Incident-response support following unauthorized transactions
• Recovery-oriented investigative support where legitimate avenues exist

Our approach is centered on documented blockchain evidence, structured analysis, and transparent communication. Where unauthorized assets have been transferred, blockchain analysis can help establish transaction flows, identify relevant addresses, and document activity for potential reporting, investigative, exchange, or legal processes.

Timely analysis and accurate documentation can be valuable when responding to a digital-asset incident.

For organizations and individuals seeking professional support with digital-asset security, blockchain investigations, or cryptocurrency incident response, Grayware Tech Services is available to discuss the circumstances and appropriate next steps.

A word of caution for anyone reading this thread after losing money to a crypto scam.

The post above may or may not be legitimate, but the marketing image says "Recover Lost Bitcoin Investment Capital", and that phrase is the calling card of what UK fraud teams call a recovery room scam. The pattern is well documented: someone loses funds, their details get passed around, and a "blockchain investigator" appears offering to trace and retrieve the money in exchange for an upfront fee, a "gas fee", or access to a wallet. The second loss is often bigger than the first. A US phone number, a generic Gmail-style contact, and unsolicited advertising in a general business forum are all worth noting before parting with a penny.

What genuine blockchain tracing can and cannot do

Tracing is real. Firms such as Chainalysis, Elliptic and TRM Labs do it for exchanges, banks and police. What no private firm can do is reverse a transaction or pull coins out of a wallet they do not control. Recovery only happens when funds land at a regulated exchange that freezes them following a police request or a court order. Any outfit implying otherwise is selling hope, not a service.

The route that costs nothing

  • England, Wales and Northern Ireland: report to Action Fraud online or by phone and keep the crime reference number.
  • Scotland: report to Police Scotland on 101, as Action Fraud does not cover Scottish cases.
  • Contact the exchange the funds left from and any exchange they arrived at, quoting transaction hashes. Many have dedicated law enforcement and fraud desks.
  • Check the FCA Warning List and ScamSmart pages, and report unauthorised firms there too.
  • If a bank card or transfer was involved, raise it with the bank under the APP fraud reimbursement rules that came in during 2024.

If a business genuinely needs security assessments or incident response, look for a firm with a Companies House registration, named directors, verifiable case work with UK police or insurers, and a clear written engagement letter before any payment. Ask them directly whether they charge success fees only. Legitimate investigators will not object to due diligence; the other kind tend to disappear when asked.
