Oh man, Tiscali has been down. Logged on to a local weak signal. Our local bar with free wifi

But our home one is down and has been since 3:30 today.

Any one else use Tiscali? This has happened quite a lot this week, it has driven me mad!!:crying:

I got a call from a customer on Sunday (yes Easter Sunday) about their tiscali connection going down. skeletone phone support blamed some disruption in the Channel Tunnel and reckoned it would all be fixed by Monday (last).

Their website said all systems were operting as normal. but have a history of recent disruptions:

I heard about this last week and wondered what knock on effect it would have, 3rd party damage to a major datacable under the Blackwall Tunnel in East London. A lot of the major national ISPs have there servers in this neck of the woods (or at least served by these cables) so it was always going to effect a larger area than East London alone.

Tiscali auditors refuse to sign-off on accounts - Times Online

I'm sure the story above is nothing to do with the technical issues but it does make you think. I think you need to look at changing providers Gordon before it's forced on you through this potential fire sale.

Ahh! I was talking to a client recently about the state of Tiscali, and I coudln't remember where I had heard they were having problems. Alas! It was SBF!
