Have you over the years of being in business or working on projects come up with what you consider to be a great idea and if so are you good at implementing them or are several of still to be instigated?

I have a lot of plans I've wanted to implement but have never had the time. A lot of these I've started with, and just got side-tracked. I'm almost certain one will be the multi-million pound one!

Just came up with one over this week and I think it's a go-er... so no doubt in 5 months time, it'll be lying on the shelf gathering dust, so to speak!

I have ideas all the time, which generally I forget about within a week or so.

I now write them down in a book as I think of them. The problem is remembering to look back at that book!

I also have a notepad that I keep on me at all times. I've lossed count of the number of times I've woken up at 3am just to right down an idea :p

Like Stu I have many ideas i'd still like to implement but these all do take time. If I was a millionaire I would definately have people helping me to implement the best of these ideas. My main goal is to have a number of projects and businesses on the go at once so that I never have to be dependent on any one. I'm also not really into routine and working on just one project would cause me to become bored quite quickly.

The best bowl of soup is the one that's been allowed to sit in the pot for a while.

I think it's also important to remain focussed on what you are trying to achieve, sometimes other ideas cause a distraction!

Yes, I think you are right...I always get people coming up to me to day....'Hey, what you should be doing is...", which make me smile. It is important to remain focused and get one project finished before you start another.

Great point Stuart! Thats an area I really struggle with and in the past it has caused me some issues. Thankfully now I spend a bit more time thinking about things before wading in to another idea. :)
