For your apprenticeship, how many hours do you work per week?

37.5 (9-5 with half an hour break). Mind you I'm not actually an apprentice any more :)

I worked 40 hours a week. There are times up to 45 but like every once a month or two.

40 hours a week more or less is a good number. If you work more you risk burning out...

Completely agree, & in a field like consulting where you're constantly switching between clients/regulatory reviews/technical questions, the mental load adds up faster than the hours suggest. Burnout in this kind of work is heavy, & one mistake could end up really bad. So I try to keep Overtime minimal.

The number of hours does not always reflect how much useful work gets done. After a certain point, longer days can lead to slower decisions and more mistakes. I think maintaining a sustainable routine is especially important when running a business, because there is always another task waiting.
