That's why you use an insurance broker. They will advise on what you need. That was just a list of different types which may or may not apply to your business.

So i guess going down the town and calling into a broker shop rather then then internet is the only way things really work. Guess I should ditch the computer then as its completly usuless

Not at all. Most brokers are online and will ask many questions about your business to make sure they can recommend the most suitable insurance products.

As an example, you don't say if you are the landlord or a leaseholder. Each of these will have different types of insurance. You may need business interruption insurance, stock insurance if the freezer packs up, directors insurance if you are a limited company.

There are way too many variables to provide a meaningful answer.

Consider this. You may have a stock management system linked to the POS, kitchens and wholesalers. What happens if the network fails or you suffer a cyber attack? Could the business continue? if not you need cyber insurance.

This sounds to be very OTT for me. if there is a cyber attack it will make no odds to me. If there is a power outage then yes I will loose stock! but not worth bothering with insurance like that

I was hopping to get some more sensible answers like public liability and building types of insurance. Since there is only one member that has posted

I agree some of might seem a little OTT but without knowing more about your business all we can do is list all the types of insurance.

I use Meadow Broking in Reading. Give Frank a call and he will be able to help you out.
