Your experience with apprenticeships?

If you've ever been in an apprenticeship, or know someone who has, what was your/their experience with them?

The wage obviously is the biggest downside to them, but most employers I know offer a permanent job to the apprentices come the end of their course. I did a business and admin apprenticeship and now I'm 'junior' account manager at the same place - so it definitely pays off if you show you're keen and enthusiastic!

It really depends on your apprenticeship provider and job. You can have a awful apprenticeship provider that has horrible coaches and poor education like me or have a good one. The apprenticeship company needly ruined my career before it started
