Hi Gary,

The general consensus I belive is that it isn't worth it. I read a bit about SEO and I dont think i've ever heard any of the people I follow say it was worth it.

Maybe other will disagree :)

From an SEO POV, there are some that swear by it.

There are others that call it a waste of time.

If you do, do it- ensure you pick the best category delivering the best PR.

A page with less entries is better with say for example a page with lots and lots of links coming off it.

No, not worth £2.99, let alone £299.

Think about it. If you needed to spend that sort of money to get listed in Yahoo, Yahoo would be empty, no-one would use it, and there'd be no point in getting listed.

Better to put your effort into creating the best possible website for your business.
