Will you need to cut costs after the pandemic?

There are suggestions that the UK economy will bounce back very quickly with many business leaders forecasting a huge cut in business costs. Will you need to cut costs after the pandemic or are you willing to take on any short-term reduction in profitability while keeping an eye on the medium to long-term? Can you afford to do it?

Unfortunately, any business which assumes they won't need to cut costs after the pandemic is living in cloud cuckoo land. We all need to get realistic, get real and look at ways in which we can save our businesses in the longer term. Short-term it will be a bloodbath but that does not mean to say the medium to long term can't go on to better where we were before the pandemic.
