Just wrote this article "What’s Really Behind Today’s Recruitment Start-Ups Prioritizing an Efficient ATS System"
about a new brand of softwares called Applicant Tracking Systems. HR people use it for candidate screening oftentimes... thought it'd make some sense to share here.
Have you had any experiences or thoughts on the ups and downs of using these platforms instead of the old-fashioned manual CV screening?
To access the article just Google the title above.

I've tried out a few ATS systems, and honestly, they’re a lifesaver when you’re dealing with hundreds of resumes. They help keep everything in order and speed up the process. That said, I’ve found they can sometimes overlook great candidates who don’t match the exact keywords. I still think manual screening can catch those unique profiles that might get missed. Overall, though, if you use an ATS wisely, it’s definitely worth it.

Many businesses prefer implementing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) because they streamline the recruitment process, making it easier to manage large volumes of resumes. ATS systems help save time and ensure efficiency in candidate screening. However, while they are highly effective, some great candidates may be overlooked if they don't match specific keywords. Balancing ATS use with manual review can help capture those unique profiles.
