I wonder how many people on here make resolutions each new year? If you do what's yours for 2014?

Another question is did you achieve the resolution (s) set at the start of 2013?.

Would love to hear your comments :)

I didn't set a resolution for last year, well if I did then I can't remember what it was. :D

For this year I have, due to my life changing in various positive and negative ways, I've set myself some goals.

My first on is to build or buy a garden office. I'm currently looking at sheds and the possibility of insulating it etc and using it to my office. I've found a solution to my sloping ground situation, so that's a good start. I just need to clear it with my housing association.

Second is to actually finish my website redevelopment, you know when you start something and it's great at first but then you kind of get bored with it. Well that's how I'm feeling at the moment, I can't even look at my new website right now.

Third is to try and keep my current income at a steady level. I'm not doing too bad really, I'm earning pretty much the same as what I did when I worked 16 hours a week. On average I'm bringing in 300-400 a month on my book sales alone. I then make money through my shop, google, amazon etc. I aim to try and keep this consistent.

That's it for now.

I'm looking forward to when I can put my feet up and the business runs it's self.

At the beginning of this year, I made a resolution that I would get in touch with EVERY SINGLE CLIENT from 2013, see how they were, ask how their projects were going, and see if they had anything in the pipeline. I love it when I have work planned out for months ahead of me and, by January 10th, I had the first six months of the year mapped out! So that worked well for me. Most of my resolutions do tend to be business related these days because I'm driven in that respect, but that's not particularly a bad thing.

This was the period when I promised myself to pull myself together and make one last attempt.
