Hi folks,

I am about to try to sell a series of "upsell's" for our business, which are designed not to be expensive, but give our clients visibility to our wider Power Lunch Club database.

What are others experiance of doing this sort of things and how did you/they get on?

For me upselling is going to McDonalds and then asking you if you want to go large for an extra 30p :p

I think Gordon it really depends on what you mean by upselling. I think theres a fine balance particularly with what you do about giving too much space for upselling and eroding the value.

I've used upselling quite well in Call the Butler where we will offer discounts for additional services and we actively promote upselling to our workforce. But again it all comes back to the balance, if you do it too much it cheapens it and becomes desperate, it needs to come accross that you're doing them a favour and are ultimately adding value.
