If you're referring to the material on various music forums that isn't mine. Some years ago I started to make a music documentary about a certain post-punk band. The bass player wouldn't take part, and I felt I couldn't complete it. DESPITE that a version of it appeared on DVD without my approval. And I started getting hassle from cranky fans...
This has extended to cranks turning up at my door and hanging around my neighbourhood and impersonating me on various music forums. I NEVER take part in these...
If you're referring to the likes of the Getty/Corbis threads that exist in various places well yes; various mugs have had their virtual heads ripped off; and for that I make no apology. It serves a purpose for me as far as advertising my ability to dis-assemble a vacuous argument...
I call a spade a spade. I'm the son of a single parent who grew up on one of the most deprived estates in Europe. Like 95% of my peers I didn't turn out to be a scum sucking parasite. So I'm not going to give any quarter to people who made that choice...

Alli is contentious. However in relation to potions beloved of the PPC crowd it's much less so. The PPC crown will typically make claims like:
Chitosan is FAR more aggressive and unpleasant than Alli (very low dose Orlistat) and can often be (as is the case above) 'cut' with pharmacologically inadvisable compounds. Inadvisable because the contra-indicators of each compound are complex enough in themselves. But cut together and with the various 'fillers'; it gets scary... a former girlfriend of mine is a GP, and it was she, some seven or eight years ago, who first alerted me to the potential horrors of this vile trade...
BTW Boots ARE in the firing line for this as are Llloyds and Smith Kline Glaxo... Don't get me wrong; I'm just as happy to rip a major multinational apart as I am some 'Dell Boy' with a lockup full of butterfly wings and African cucumbers... But to feign credibility on the basis that because Boots are doing it that's in any way comparable to the work of these back street sheisters...
