As a family we're motorsport fans... mainly circuit racing ... and for the past three years we've run our son Andrew in the Scottish XR2 and Scottish Mini Cooper championships. Most of the racing took place at Knockhill but we usually did two away rounds in Englandshire..

This year uni takes priority so we've sold the Mini but might be back next season.

Take a look at some of his in-car videos in the media section of his website. Some are boring and some are frightening !!

So does anyone else have in interest in something other than football?

Hi Dick,

I've met many people from the forums and one of the things that really struck we was how few people liked football! (I'm a footie fan myself :p for my sins)

I do enjoy watching golf and try to get to any events that happen in Scotland for at least one of the days. I've also started to get into tennis and have watched Andy Murray alot lately (nice watching him crush Nadal today :p)

I wish it could have been something more exotic but hey ho! :)

My step-family are now and have been for many years involved in motorbike trials. Whilst I rarely get the chance to go and watch these days (even with the 'Six Days' only down in Ft William) I do occasionally catch some of the world indoors on Eurosport.

I too enjoy a watching/playing golf and believe it or not darts! I love getting out on my mountain bike, although I could do with some more practice and less injuries!

My hubby is football mad....arrrghhhhh. That was all that was on the TV yesterday. Thankfully son No1 & No2 is into something different. My daughter also has the same interest as son No1. They both do Tae Kwon Do. She is a red tag which is only 3 gradings from her black belt where as son No1 has his 3rd degree black belt. He also does Thai boxing and has done his first grading. He is also doing Krav Maga, which I think is a specialist Israeli self defence art. He is a sports fitness freak and has almost completed his HND in Sports Science, I think he is hoping to go to University after summer.
Son No2 takes after his mum...we only exercise our hands, his on his xbox and laptop....me with my jewellery and laptop ;)

I get fed up with the bile and bigotry that comes with fitbaw. I much prefer it when that E*)&%@} C*{t gets walloped at the darts instead. ;)

I do enjoy the rugby as well!

If you're ever doon in Edinburgh, let me know. I attend the Edinburgh Capitals now and again. If you don't mind the fact the ice-rink is boggin, it's a brilliant evening out! :)

Ah.... Memories of Murrayfield Ice Rink...... And the refit - when they lined the roof with tinfoil.... I really must at some point stop in and say hello to Scott Neil (wonder if he's still sitting in the wee both in the arcade at the weekend).. Mind you - wonder if the arcade is still there? Next time I'm heading down to the central belt and I've got time to hit the rink I'll give you a shout and see if you'll be there yourself.
