Safari question

Someone posted somewhere a browser checker and it says that boxby is crap when viewed in safari 4.

Is Safari 4 the newest version? Or a beta? Or an old version.
I have no idea about safari as I am someone that can't even switch a mac on.

Safari 4 is the beta of the new version, and is pretty impressive to be honest. It runs on both Mac and PC and is available for download here. It's worth installing it just for a nosey - just don't set it as your default browser!

I had a quick look and your site looks fine in Safari 4 (exactly the same as IE7),what specifically were you told or was it just a general 'crap'?

I was using Check Browser Compatibility, Cross Platform Browser Test - Browsershots and the "crap" bit was my terminology for a blank white page.

Just to chuck into the mix - I use browsershots.org all the time, absolutely fantastic wee tool! Just have to be a bit patient whilst it makes all the screenshots for you.
