Hi Tom,

Logmein is free :) Brian is correct though there is a remote support option in Windows and there's also one in MSN Messenger as well. I'm sure one of these three will be exactly what you need. :)

I will second the vote for logmein, I have used it a few times in the past and have never had any problems. It's got a few nice extra features that extend the remote control functionality too.

I have to say that I believe that it is actually more secure than anything built into Windows or MSN. (Could be wrong, just my opinion!)

Regards,

Gordon

Teamviewer.

Uses port 80 therefore no firewall hassles, clients for both PC's and Mac's and best of all, it's free for non-commercial use :)rolleyes:)

Hi,

I use UltraVNC with SingleClick.

You get the client to download a tiny little .exe file onto their desktop, and whenever they need support, jsut get them to open it.

Because they initiate the connection, their NAT/Firewall is irrelevant, and it is up to you to forward any ports on your local NAT.

Double click on Technician 1, and that'll ping my machine to start a session.

oooooh ;)
