Record 100,000 Apprenticeship Applications received in one month

Active Member
This was taken directly from the National Apprenticeship Website, it's great news!

New data from the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) reveals today that it has received a record-breaking 100,000 Apprenticeship applications and number of jobs advertised also stands at a record high of 15,000, representing seven applicants for every Apprenticeship vacancy advertised.

I was actually wondering the other day how many people applied, I never thought it would be anywhere near this figure!

That is simply amazing. though i guess its going to get harder for people to get on a apprenticeship if its 7 applicants to 1 apprenticeship vacancy, this figure is only going tot get bigger.

Yeah I agree, for the country, it's a good statistic - although it can be quite horrible if you've applied for a role loads of other people have applied for and you didn't get it
