Really good scottish websites

HI

I am looking for some really good scottish websites (for design inspiration). As in websites that are targeted at a scottish business customer (as opposed to websites run by scottish businesses etc).

What I need is that subliminal thing that says "I'm Scottish, I'm local" but without the naffness that seems to go with a lot of the "shortbread tin" scottish. No Rennie Macintosh, No Celtic lettering, No tartan.
(along the lines of the SBF logo. :) )

Clean lines, modern looking, b2b market (Small co. to PLC)

The website is for a specific product that is specifically for businesses in Scotland (partic mainland highlands).

Does anyone have any websites that they've either designed or seen that fits this kind of profile?

Kind regards & Many thanks
Sandra

Should have said - the reason that my business customer will be interested in the website/service etc is specifically because he knows that the normal UK industry leaders, CAN'T solve his problem, because the problem is specific to the scottish geography.

So the Scottish thing is important.

You may like to have a look at one of my other sites I run, it is due for a revamp and re-launch soon hence why everything is out of stock at the moment!

It is obviously for a consumer market but may give you some inspiration as our design goals were the same as yours when when we produced it.

It is WP so can be updated and changed by someone as dim as me

I'm after suggestions of images etc for the website, again I'm after iconic but modern, so i've got Holyrood, The new clyde Bridge. But i'm not so strong on Inverness/Aberdeen etc. Are there any modern iconic scottish buildings/landmarks, I know that there is a theatre up, is it Inverness?..... Any suggestions very welcome.

Love the aecc exterior ones. That's exactly the kind of thing I'm after, modern scottish for Scots, rather than cliches for tourists.
