I have a small one-man-band business. It's a limited company.
The company has created, sells and supports two totally unrelated software products.
A different company, let's call him "BUYER CO" wants to buy the rights to one of the products so they can develop it further.
Selling the software source code and the copyright to them isn't a problem. But there's 1000's of people who have purchased licences to use the product and I'd need to pass these to BUYER CO as well. How would I pass the name/addresses data of the product's existing user base to BUYER CO. Surely I'd need permission from every single customer?
Any advice?
Thanks
