PrintCycle today announced the launch of EcoExchange, an online service to make it as easy as possible for people to responsibly recycle old handsets in return for cash.
Most of us have old mobile phones lurking in the back of a drawer somewhere, but not so many realise that recycling an old mobile phone could earn them up to £180.
EcoExchange aims to recover mobile phones for reuse and recycling by incentivising people to send them back for recycling. We aim to provide a sustainable solution by recovering phones for reuse, and recycling those phones that cannot be reused. In this manner we hope to help divert some of the thousands of tonnes of waste that is sent to landfill every year.
PrintCycle’s Robert Craig commented “EcoExchange launches today at EcoExchange Mobile Phone Recycling - Trade Your Phone and Get Cash - PrintCycle and is easy to use. Customers simply visit the site and enter details of their make and model to see how much we pay. They then send us their old mobile phone to recycle, and we send a cheque – it’s as easy as that and the postage is even paid for them.”
You can trade as many old mobile phones as you have stored away in your bottom drawer, and once you see the financial rewards as well as the environmental ones, you can tell all your colleagues, friends and family about the benefits of mobile phone recycling with EcoExchange.
