David Calder's a highly respected professional freelance broadcaster with over 30 years experience. He's presented and reported for such heavyweight BBC programmes as The Money Programme on BBC2 + Today & You and Yours on BBC Radio 4. Here in Scotland, he's worked for TV's Reporting Scotland & Good Morning Scotland on Radio Scotland. Before becoming a broadcaster, he spent a couple of years as speech-writer to a former CBI director general. He's also taught many business leaders how to communicate effectively so he's well placed to advise business people on how to communicate their message professionally.

His company, BITweb.TV (Business Internet Television),BITwebTV home page, is staffed by leading broadcast and online TV specialists, allowing organisations to access the same high quality production values used by broadcasting professionals.

David and his BITwebTV associates already produce the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce's highly successful Chamber TV and a news/best-practice sharing TV channel for The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations.

As more or us spend more time watching video online, it is increasingly important that businesses find out how to use this medium. Here are a few amazing figures about how we are watching more video online in the UK.

· 2006 – 625 million minutes viewed
· 2007 – 1.3 billion minutes viewed
· 2008 – 2.5 billion minutes viewed

We are delighted that David will be presenting for us on Thursday the 5th of March, and we would encourage you to come along and join us.

David will show how professional business TV is put together and giving out tips about how to communicate your business message, along with a question and answer session at the end, followed by the chance to network with him and other businesses over lunch.

Cost: Full PLC members: £20
Cost: Non-members: £35
