Hi guys,
Just have a question to see whether anyone here might know the answer to this.
So we are in transition phase at the moment and buying goods and parcels from the EU flow into the UK nice and quick without going through customs like they would when coming from China, USA etc.
For arguments sake, if i order goods from an EU based business late December and the parcel was sent without declaration (as it is currently while in transition period) - what would happen to this parcel if it was to reach the UK boarder after 01.01.2021?
Will it follow the same method as it does currently because the parcel was SENT BEFORE 01.01.2021
or
Will it be subject to pass through customs along with any VAT and duty?
Bear in mind there will be no declaration on the parcel itself when it reaches the UK boarder?
