CRM makes it easier to manage your business and customer relationships. It is a software that improves company operations and increases product sales. I use CRM from Firmao, it is really a very good and easy to use program. If you are looking for something that will help you manage your business, I recommend it.

With my business, I've found that inbound marketing to be the best 'free' method of getting traffic. I head up the marketing department, so I spend a lot of time doing this.

Essentially, you use your experience in your sector to write articles that are helpful to people. So, for instance, our company protects people when they are working alone, or in high-risk sectors. So, we write articles like 'What is lone working?' or, 'Lone working law'.

The rule of thumb is that it takes about 3 months for a good article (good here meaning helpful and full of keywords that people will search for),for it to start bringing in noticeable traffic.

What you can then do is set up a 'lead magnet'. These are, essentially, resources you give away for free in order to get contact details. So, in our 'What is lone working' article, we offer readers the chance to download a free PDF guide. They fill in some details and then get emailed the PDF guide. This gives you a chance to promote to interested parties, and to prove that you know what you're talking about.

The important thing to remember is that there's no 'trick' here. You just provide good, helpful content to people who are interested in your industry. Hopefully, you already know about the topic, but a bit of research helps.

It takes us a lot of work to make this content, particularly as we have quite high standards of quality, but it's worth it. This is why 'free' may not be the correct word, as it's expensive in terms of hours put into research, writing and illustrating... but you don't have to pay to promote it.

I never used to believe in inbound marketing, but it's entirely repeatable and proven if you put the time in!
