I'm getting married in Sept and we really want to share the photos with everyone online. Our photographer is happy with this so now we just need to find a site that will allow us to upload large files and then enable guests to order prints within the UK.

My first port of call was Picasa, you can order prints from the software on your PC but for some reason I can't from the web albums...even though the help section says you can! Perhaps I'm overlooking the 'order prints' button.

I also checked out Flickr Pro but the print order service is US only.

Any other good sites out there we can use?

Might be worth a try, I'll check it out. Somewhere that can do top notch quality prints would be good.

Anyone got any other suggestions?

There's also Photobox although I find the interface a bit clunky but that's probably just me. There are more professional ones out there but most of them would entail you fulfilling the print orders at a lab of your choice.

What websites are there that offer more professional printing?

There are a number of pro photo labs around. The one that I, and most people I know, use is www.loxleycolour.co.uk. They don't do online viewing though and you need to download their ROES software so it's not something I would advise you do. If the prints aren't going to be that big, Photobox should be alright. I know of one Professional 'tog who uses them for all his online albums and printing.

I used the Kodak printing service and the quality of some of the printouts was dire. I then switched to Snapfish and was gobsmacked at the difference.

I'd also like the ability for other guests to upload and share their photos too, which is why Picasa or Flickr would be perfect. Photobox, SnapFish, etc don't seem to have that functionality.

I think it's safe to say that a really good print place won't offer any other services. Their time will be taken up with just that, printing :p
Kodak is the devil of online prints, I can't say I've tried snapfish but it's hard to be worse than Kodak. Even a 6-ink HP photo printer I had delivered better results.

Anyone that's really serious about printing a lot of shots should consider splashing out on one of these, the Canon Pixma Pro9500 it will set you back a good £500 but that pays for itself within a few thousand prints.

A few THOUSAND prints?

I'll stick to my ancient epson 1290; costs hardly a bean to run since I fitted a CISS to it...

I suspect Photobox would fit the bill for the O/P..... 'Tis clunky from a pro standpoint but most users would be happy methinks..
