Ever been on Twitter and wished you could meet your 'friends' face-to-face and put a face to an avatar? Well, here's one of the best chances you can have to do just that...

Last September a group of Twitter users met up in 130 cities for a Twestival. In the process of having a fantastic night out they raised over $450k for 135 charities (£3675 from Glasgow alone!) – Not bad for a night of face-to-face networking!

We enjoyed ourselves at last year's event so much that we deiced to lend a hand and help organise the 2010 one. So on March the 25th (next Thursday) the 2010 Twestival will take place in the Lansdowne Bar to raise as much money as possible for Concern Worldwide (@Concern)

Tickets are a steal at £7.50 and there are loads of fantastic raffle prizes to be won and the chance to bid on an iPad.

Last year over 200 people made it along to the night so not only is there a chance for a night of networking and hearing some of Glasgow's newest bands but there's a chance you may go home with an iPad, a night in a hotel or even a free meal too!
