I think it's a very honest blogpost and I wish others would follow your lead

I'm by no means an expert on blogposts as i'm just finding my feet with them as well but what I have gathered is that it's really useful to interlink posts with others you have done in the past. Typical length is normally 300-500 words so I think you've fitted that quite well

It's important you add value with your posts as well so that people will come back and it's also good to offer ways of them subscribing to your posts be that via email or rss. I'm sure there's much more and I hope others can add their tuppence worth
