MIcrosoft IE Warning

Hi All,

Just to let you know Microsoft have released a statement saying that a security compromise has been found in internet explorer and there is advice that users should stop using IE until a fix is released.

It’s on the bbc website:

and they have some advisory notes on their blog:

Scary when expert say to stop using their software eh!

As soon as I read it this morning I emailed my contact list. I am ok, I think, as I use firefox and thunderbird as my browser and email client anyway. My poor priest, needless to say it awaiting my expertise. I think I must come across as a genius with computers to him. :001_rolleyes:

Anytime I download anything from Microsoft these days in terms of patches or updates my computer decided it doesn't want to play anymore.

Aye, that's Microsoft for you.... They'd very much like you to buy a new computer that you don't really need plus some more half-assed, half-finished bloatware that will never work properly....
